Mick Kit

Mick Kit

$50.00

Inspired by my grandfather and legendary fixer, Mick Miotto, this handy little kit of unrelated and seemingly inconsequential items includes just what you need to complete everyday tasks in a pinch. It’s like a tool box and a junk drawer that fits in your junk drawer. The Mick Kit includes a bunch of items that you probably already own, but that's OK, because you likely don't know where any of them are, and the Mick Kit keeps them all in one convenient, durable, plastic container with a secure twist seal top for you. Good for second homes, dorm rooms, housewarming gift, etc.

You fit all that stuff in a tiny container?

Yes.

When would I actually use this thing?

If you have ever needed to measure, cut, sew, stitch, clean, bundle, view, charge, open, move, sharpen, read, tighten, fix, or fasten anything, then you can use a Mick Kit.

Who is Mick?

The founding father of the Mick Kit. Electrician-extraordinaire, World War II veteran, father of 5, grandfather of 11, all around putzer who could fix anything and knew his way around everything from a utility box to a circuit board. He was endlessly curious about everything from toothpicks to nuclear reactors. He found infinite utility in ordinary things like carpet foam and velcro, and he would treat such overlooked items with reverence. He'd carry around a one inch long pencil in his wallet because he didn't want to waste time looking for one when he needed to write something down. He'd keep a handful of essential items nearby because, as he'd say, "you don't think you're gonna' need it, but you're gonna' need it."
